AJJF Athletic Taping Clinics
The American Judo and Jujitsu Federation
requires training in athletic
taping and basic trauma management for all its
black belts
and black belt candidates.
This course covers basic trauma management,
why tape and when you would use athletic
taping techniques.
The AJJF Taping Manual is the text for this class.
Taping techniques for the following joints are covered:
- Finger
- Wrist
- Elbow
- Shoulder
- Ankle
- Toe
Examinations will be administered at the end of the class,
for those seeking AJJF Taping Certification.
Successful completion fulfills
the AJJF black belt exam taping requirement for 1 year.
Attending Clinic
Please bring 5 rolls of 1½" athletic tape.
Wear loose comfortable clothing that allows access
to the joints mentioned above.
