Thank You to Professor Musselman

Professor James Musselman - Shichidan

Professor Musselman began his studies of jujitsu in 1958 at the Chico Judo & Jujitsu Academy under Professor Bud Estes. He founded many jujitsu schools in Nevada and California while pursuing a career in broadcasting and television. In 1960, Professor Musselman was promoted to the rank of godan and given the title of Professor. He is currently Senior Instructor of the Kodenkan Institute located in Belmont, California.

Our thanks to Professor James Musselman for his many years of commitment to students of DanZan Ryu Jujitsu. With his retirement from the AJJF Board of Professors, he ends many years of direct service to the organization. We look forward to many more years of his attention as he continues to be active in his dojo and at events and classes within the AJJF.
