AJJF Code of Ethics Policy Course
Course Announcement: AJJF Ethics Policy
The AJJF
Board of Professors
has announced a new program instituting an
AJJF Ethics Policy.
All AJJF members that are teaching in AJJF schools (Standard and Allied Plus)
are required to attend the Ethics Course once every 3 years and to sign the
Ethics Statement annually at the time of the School renewal. The class will be
offered through the
Danzan Ryu Instructor Development Program (DZRIDP).
The short Ethics Course will educate our instructors on such subjects as:
- The contents of the AJJF Code of Conduct
- Promoting clear and honest communications with students to establish trust in the student/teacher relationship
- Keeping confidentiality when appropriate
- The contents of the new AJJF Youth Protection Policy
A course will be offered at our Annual Convention starting this year. If you have
not attended those Ethics Courses offered recently, plan to attend this mandatory
class to fulfill your attendance requirement.
For information on when and where the course will be offered search the
AJJF Events page.
