Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu training begins with basic stretching and strengthening exercises. Next, students learn rolls and falls that allow them to be thrown safely. The system is arranged into eleven lists of techniques, which teach the basics of balance, leverage and inertia.
The first five lists are taught below Black Belt level;
The Law Enforcement class is for law enforcement and security personnel. Others who wish to attend must be ranked at Yonkyu or above, have prior approval of their Sensei and permission from Sensei Borba. Students from the weekly Law Enforcement class are welcome to attend the Danzan-Ryu classes as well.

Visiting Las Vegas in the near future, come on down. Guests from other Jujitsu dojos and other martial art systems are welcome to join our classes. If you are planning on attending class you should contact Sensei Borba to verify the schedule (schudele subject to change without notice).
Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu classes are $70.00 per month.
Law Enforcement classes are $50.00 per month.

Rich is a retired California Law Enforcement Officer. Currently he is a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Volunteer and is assigned to the Training Unit as a Current Firearms Specialist and Defensive Tactics Instructor. He is employed by the Clark County Juvenile Probation, Family Services Department and works at the Youth Felony Unit.
