What Kids Learn

JuJitsu builds kids balance, coordination, strength, agility, and flexibility.

Kids learn a practical system of self-defense which allows them to protect themselves without harming others.

They learn to be aware of themselves and their surroundings, and to think ahead when they speak or act.

They learn how not to fight, how to stay calm in the face of anger and fear.

Kids learn to set goals for themselves, the self-discipline and focus needed to meet those goals, the confidence that comes from having met them, and the enjoyment of learning that encourages them to set their next goals even higher.

The cooperative learning system helps kids develop not only their technique but also their responsibility, communication skills, maturity, and leadership.

They gain self-esteem by working through their fears and apparent limitations.

Best of all, kids learn that learning is something we all do our whole lives, and that learning is fun!
