The Kiai Echo is going green!
Did you know that the Kiai Echo consumes 80,000 sheets of paper every year? And that most of those sheets of paper are thrown away? Yes, the AJJF is going green. Starting the middle of 2011 the Kiai Echo will be distributed electronically.
If you still want a printed copy, though, don't despair! An option to order professionally printed copies will be available for a nominal fee.

The Kiai Echo is the newsletter of the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation, Inc. (AJJF), a non-profit educational organization that promotes Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, a classical Japanese martial art. The newsletter is published four times a year.

Selected articles have been reproduced on this web site.

Online Copies

New issues and many old issues are available on the Kiai Echo Archive page.

Submissions must be received by the following dates for review to be included in the up coming issue:
  • November 15th for the Winter issue
  • February 15th for the Spring issue
  • May 15th for the Summer issue

Articles

Articles may be printed or written neatly, typewritten, sent snail-mail on a floppy-disk (Mac or PC) along with a hard copy, FAX (if absolutely necessary) or e-mail (send as an attachment formatted in any popular Mac or PC word processor, send any illustrations or photos in GIF format, or any other popular format). We prefer any method that will not require data entry.
