Time-in-Grade Letters

Description

The AJJF Central Office Administrator is responsible for checking an applicant's time-in-grade for promotional examinations.

An Ikkyu must have one year of AJJF membership prior to the promotional examination.

Dan examinees must have been active AJJF members for the entire period of time-in-grade required for their rank examination.

Upon request from the candidate's sensei to the BOP, the time-in-grade requirement may be modified if the exception is made prior to the exam.
