School Heads
Description
The AJJF is primarily a federation of individual schools and instructors. Activities of the AJJF should be directed toward helping the schools teach and propagate the Danzan Ryu system.
Further Information
A. All AJJF School Heads must have the rank of AJJF Blackbelt.
B. Responsibilities
- School Heads are directly responsible for the instruction and propagation of the Danzan Ryu system to their students and the general public.
- As representatives of the AJJF, they must:
- Maintain the integrity and
ethics of the AJJF and the Danzan Ryu system.
- Promote the AJJF to their students by encouraging involvement in AJJF activities.
- May recommend their students as candidates for Blackbelt examinations.
- May recommend candidates for Operations Committee and regional positions.
- Elect and recall members of the Operations Committee.
- Elect and recall their Regional Manager.
- Host national and regional events.
- Assist national and regional officers.
C. Powers
- Elect members of the Operations Committee.
- One vote for each school as long as both school and school head are members in good standing.
- Chair of the Operations Committee will provide absentee ballots to those school heads who cannot attend the election.
- Recall members of the Operations Committee.
- A recall election shall be called, by the Chair of the Operations Committee, when twenty-five percent of the eligible school heads request it.
- A Manager shall be removed from office if two-thirds of the eligible school heads vote for recall.
- Elect the Regional Manager of their Region.
- A recall election shall be called, by the Manager of Regions, when twenty-five percent of the eligible school heads request it.
- A Regional Manager shall be removed from office if two-thirds of the eligible school heads vote for recall.
- Recommend candidates for Blackbelt examinations.
- Promote all ranks up to, but not including, the rank of AJJF Blackbelt.
- Recommend candidates for positions on the Operations Committee.
