AJJF Dress Code
The AJJF Board of Professors has identified the need for a uniform dress
code that reflects the history and traditions of our ryu and at the same time
takes into consideration some of the contemporary changes that take place
in the martial arts world. This dress code is for all AJJF registrants attending
AJJF mat activities, including clinics, contests, seminars and conventions.
Not included would be massage classes or other activities in which a gi is
not worn.
It is recommended that each school head use the AJJF Dress Code as a
general guideline when establishing a dress code for their dojo. The Board
of Professors relies on each school head to inform and educate their students
about the AJJF Dress Code and the importance of following a uniform dress
code that reflects the history and traditions of Danzan Ryu and our Federation.
