AJJF Divisions and Regions
Description
The AJJF is divided into Divisions and Regions for the purpose of allowing
greater involvement of AJJF School Heads in their locations.

These are elected, volunteer positions for the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation.
- Division Managers
- Elected by the Division School Heads in odd years
- The term will be 2 years
- Coordinate Division activities with Region Managers.
- Division Manager must also be approved by the Operations Committee
and may be removed by the O.C. for nonperformance or malfeasance.
- Division Manager may serve as both a Region Manager and a Division Manager
- Region Officers
- Elected by the school heads of each Region in the even years
- The term will be 2 years.
- Region Manager
- Report to the Manager of the Division in which the Region is located
- Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of the Regions in the Division.
- Schedule at least one regional meeting and/or one school heads' meeting annually.
- Communicate with the Division Manager on a regular basis.
- Duties
- Work with the Region Managers in the division to develop programs and activities.
- Confirm that Regional events are forwarded to the Web Master for publication on the AJJF website calendar.
- Prepare a yearly budget, based on funds requested at annual school heads' meeting.
- Manage disbursement of Region funds, in accordance with the wishes of the School Heads.
- Mail by USPS to National Manager of Divisions quarterly annual financial reports,
- Use the form Regional Quarterly Financial Report
- Send copies of bank statements for regional funds.
- Send receipts if reimbursement is requested.
- Secretary
- The region school heads may elect a secretary to document meetings within the region
- Treasurer
- The region school heads may elect a treasurer to manage the finances, at the direction of the school heads.
