Athletic Taping Clinic
Description
The AJJF offers Athletic Taping Clinics to our membership to provide quality, consistent instruction of recognized techniques.
Further Information
- This course is to be taught by an AJJF Authorized Taping Instructor of the
AJJF Athletic Taping Clinic
- Course Content
- Practical applications actually practicing the taping techniques
- Basic trauma management information to help evaluate the extent of an injury.
- This course is in no way meant to replace Standard First Aid.
In the event of any injury, First Aid and/or CPR methods are to be used.
- Blackbelt Exams
- This course, when taught by an AJJF Authorized Taping Instructor,
can be completed for the
Taping Exam
at an AJJF Blackbelt exam.
- The successfully completed Taping Exam
is valid for one year after the date of completion.
An Authorized Instructor should sign the exam form, which
must be turned in with your other Blackbelt exam documentation.

- Athletic Taping Instructors
- The AJJF Board of Professors will designate the individuals to be
AJJF Authorized Taping Instructors.
- Only these individuals can advertise the class as an
AJJF Authorized Taping Clinic.
- An individual Sensei may still teach taping techniques and the other
information from the manual
to their to students, but are respectfully
requested to not offer the entire clinic, as an AJJF Event,
with authorization.
- Contact the Coordinator of Taping Instruction to become an
AJJF Authorized Taping Instructor.
