AJJF / DZR Instructor Development Course
Weekend Intensive May 31 to June 1, 2008

Subject:       Teaching Women's Self Defense
Instructors:  Professor Jane Carr and Sensei Cynthia Frueh

This  training includesthe practice of defensive strikes and kicks and lectures on safety awareness. The material is not “A.J.J.F. Curriculum” but represents what is taught in some A.J.J.F. schools. The material will be presented exactly the way we teach a 12 hour course, with the participants acting as the "students" to see just how we
present the material.
 
This course helps schools heads handle questions from students in the on-going jujitsu classes as well as offering a venue for a stand-alone self defense class.

Participants will be given handbooks to use and take home as a resource. AJJF Ikkyu and Black Belts, minimum age is 16.  (Nikkyu or Sankyu with Sensei permission.) AJJF Sanctioned event, membership is required. For more information and registration: http://makotokaihealingarts.com/dzr.shtml

 Registration for all competitors will begin at 9:00am Saturday morning,
Please arrive at least one hour prior to your division start time for registration and warm up.

Adults Freestyle Divisions – Judging will begin at 10 Am
Little Dragon Kata Divisions – Judging will begin at 1 Pm
Juniors Freestyle Divisions- Judging will begin at 2pm
Award ceremonies immediately following each division

Contest fees: $20 per person.
